Prefilters

  • Prefilters are designed to protect costly final filters. Many prefilters are used also for non critical fluid filtrations.
  • Prefilters are manufactured using a wide range of materials such as polypropylene, borosilicate microfiber and cellulose and in various formats such as depth and pleated type filters.

CLEARTRAK-KTR

  • Multilayer Cartridge
  • CLEARTRAK-KTR are very high efficiency filter cartridges for removing extremely fine contaminants such as bacteria and colloids.
  • This high level of performance is obtained by pleating multiple layers of polypropylene and borosilicate microfiber media to utilise the prefiltration effect of polypropylene and the final retention effect of borosilicate microfiber. The borosilicate microfiber is an extensively reticulated matrix that develops an electrostatic potential when immersed in aqueous solution thus providing a double filtration effect of both depth retention and surface adsorption.
  • All media and components are biologically safe, non media migrating and meet FDA, USP and EEC requirements for food contact. The thermally bonded construction assures minimal extractables. The resulting structure is particularly rugged to avoid unloading of trapped contaminants even under pulsation or sudden pressure changes.
  • Typical applications for CLEARTRAK-KTR cartridges are as either a final filter or high efficiency prefilter in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and beverage applications.


POLYPASS

  • POLYPASS, Microfiber Media grafted with Alumina Nanofibers
  • The POLYPASS is the premier filter cartridge to remove colloidal particles from aqueous solutions. Developed to handle critical applications, POLYPASS is well suited for pharmaceutical, cosmetics as well as for food & beverage industries.
  • POLYPASS filter cartridges are manufactured using a microfiber media grafted with alumina nanofibers in order to have a postive charged matrix able to retain particles smaller than the pore of the media itself.
  • All construction materials are chemically and biologically inert in accordance with FDA and USP. The manufacturing is completed in a controlled environment to assure high quality standards.


POLIXSTER

  • Polyester Filter Element
  • POLIXSTER filter elements are made of polyester. This a valid alternative to polypropylene cartridges in the filtration of solvents, acid and basic solutions whenever polypropylene is not compatible with the operating conditions.
  • POLIXSTER is manufactured in several filtration ratings from 0.5 to 20 micrometer.
  • PH grade is available for bulk product filtration used in pharmaceutical applications.


POLYSAN PKP

  • Polypropylene Filter Element
  • POLYSAN PKP cartridges contain multiple layers of pleated media, all polypropylene materials and absolute filtration rating (BETA 5000).
  • POLYSAN PKP cartridges are an effective final filter in many applications or a high performance prefilter to extend the life of membrane cartridges. These cost effective cartridges offer rated removal efficiency, high dirt holding capacity and long service life.
  • The polypropylene materials comply with FDA, USP and EEC requirements

  • POLYSAN PKP cartridges contain multiple layers of pleated media, all polypropylene materials and absolute filtration rating (BETA 5000).

POLYVER PLV-PH

  • Multi Layer Filter Element for Critical Application
  • POLYVER PLV-PH filter cartridges are manufactured from pleated layers of borosilicate microfiber and nonwoven polypropylene media. Each cartridge is flushed with pyrogen free water and particle release test is performed on every lot.
  • POLYVER PLV-PH are very high efficiency filter cartridges for reducing colloidal particles and bacteria.
  • This high level of performance is obtained by pleating multiple layers of polypropylene and borosilicate microfiber media to utilise the prefiltration effect of polypropylene and the final retention effect of glass microfiber.

  • Positrak PST-PH cartridges are designed to remove colloidal particles present in aqueous solutions.
  • Typical applications for Positrak PST-PH cartridges are as either a final filter or as a high efficiency prefilter in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and beverage applications.
  • POSITRAK PST-PH filter cartridges are manufactured from positively charged nonwoven polypropylene and borosilicate microfiber media, flushed with purified pyrogen free water in compliance with FDA, USP and EEC Directives.



TOPLIFE TPR

  • TOPLIFE TPR Cartridges are manufactured by winding layers of meltblown polypropylene media around a polypropylene internal core.
  • TOPLIFE TPR Cartridges are typically used in water purification, food and beverage applications.

XL Series Media

  • Depth Media designed for Critical Process applications
  • Ertel/Alsop XL media is designed for critical process applications. The XL media provides highly efficient removal of particulates smaller than the rated pore size with the net positive charge zeta potential.
  • Xl media comes in both flat sheet media and Lenticular stacked disc.

Micro-Media Series

  • Depth Filter Media
  • ErtelAlsop Micro-Media® Series Depth Filter Media is formulated with cellulose, wet strength resin and diatomite and/or perlite. This is specifically designed for use in critical applications.
  • All components of ErtelAlsop Micro-Media® are listed in the CFR, recognized as safe for contact with food as dictated by 21CFR 176.170.
  • The Micro-Media series comes in both flat sheet media and Lenticular stacked disc.
